David Muir, an American journalist who anchors the ABC News magazine 20 years old, is most well-known as the co-anchor of World News Tonight With David Muir. His show with its dramatic video footage celebrity gossip and his animated gestures has grown to become the most watched broadcast in America. Made In America has also been selected for the Emmy Awards. Before joining ABC World News Tonight, he served as the primary substitute for his predecessor Diane Sawyer. He was the anchor for numerous primetime specials for ABC News some recent ones include Breaking Point: Heroin in America as well as Flashpoint The Refugee Crisis in America. He has travelled around across the globe covering stories from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. His awards include multiple Edward R. Murrow Awards, as well as awards from The Associated Press.
