Annie Mist Thorisdottir of Reykjavik Iceland is a CrossFit athlete. She's the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also instructs and trains. Annie is the only woman ever to be crowned winner of CrossFit Games on two occasions. Annie was second at the 2010 and the 2014 CrossFit Games. Annie Thorisdottir is an Icelandic weightlifter, is also a CrossFit athlete and celebrity journalist. She has gained fame for being the sole woman who has ever won twice at CrossFit Games: in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie together with her both her parents and siblings was born at Reykjavik Iceland. Being an avid sportsman and fitness enthusiast since at an early age, Annie participated in a variety of school sports and won several medals. In 2009, she participated in the CrossFit games at California where she performed relatively good in her first games. Annie Thorisdottir will be 31 (by in 2021). Annie placed 2nd at CrossFit Games in 2010 under Jami's direction. Because of her impressive performance, she managed to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie's impressive performance in 2012 brought to her a third CrossFit Games victory. This was her second time that she was able to win consecutively. Additionally, in 2014 Annie was awarded a Silver Medal, as well as, more recently, in 2021, she was awarded Bronze at the CrossFit Games. Annie trains and coaches for Crossfit Reykjavik. It was the idea of her. Annie's rise in recognition as a professional athlete has seen her become the spokesperson for many sporting brands, such as Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Rennaisance Periodization Nuunhydration-Sidekick Yerb.
